The team was formed at under 6 level under the banner of Ambleside Sharks. A few players still remain from those early days and have made new friends and welcomed new players along the way.
Going in to the leagues has been great fun which the lads have shown it by their entertaining football. Although they have won no major trophies the lads always compete well and provide a tough task for all opponents.After being relegated the first season ,promoted the next season and once again relegated last season the lads remain positive. The lads were rewarded at the end of last season, winning the most sporting team of the year which was a great tribute to them.
Now being part of Grove Farm, the lads are looking forward to a whole new game at 11 a side and continue being a great bunch of lads.
In junior football, should all players be given the same amount of time on the pitch during a game, regardless of ability?
Yes, always. Getting kids involved is the most important thing.
